In November of 08 our family decided to have our whole church out for a hayride and bon fire. We had to clean out the whole barn and around the house to get things ready for the bon fire. We decided that we couldn’t take people down to the pastures for the hayride but that we’d have to take them around the field by the barn. At about sundown that night people started to show up and it wasn’t long before we could finally eat. As soon as it came time to take the hayrides I (Ethan) got a whole bunch of bottle rockets and dynamite and ran behind some hay bales. I had a torch so I could light a whole bunch at a time and maybe I lit to many because people started screaming and I had to run out and stomp on some fires…but I think the fires helped scare some people pretty bad because they thought the hole field was going to catch fire. The bon fire and hay rides were a lot of fun as well as fellowship.
Looks like fun. Wish we could have made it!
